Important roadworks information
A11 overbridge B1077 Norwich Road – bridge joint repairs
I am writing to tell you that we plan to carry out bridge joint repairs on the B1077 Norwich Road ‘A11 overbridge’. Once complete, drivers will benefit from the overbridge remaining in a safe and serviceable condition.
We plan to complete this work over five nights starting on Monday 15 June 2026. We will work between 8pm and 6am, weather permitting.
Closures and diversions
To carry out the work safely, we will need to close the A11 B1077 Norwich Road and divert traffic as follows:
A11 NB Entry Slip Diversion (traffic from Attleborough) (Map 1)
- B1077 Norwich Road into Attleborough
- follow Surrogate Street
- Connaught Road
- Exchange Street
- Queens Rd to A11 northbound
Diversion for Morley St Peter (Map 2)
- join the A11 northbound
- leave at the Spooner Row Junction
- London Road
- Station Road above the A11
- rejoin the A11 southbound and continue to Besthorpe exit slip
Please note emergency vehicles will not have access through the works.
